What To Expect
Your first lesson
Before you arrive
- Plan to arrive 15 minutes early — this time is used for grooming and tacking up
- When riding an NBS horse, tack is provided for you
- Wear closed-toe boots with a heel and a fitted helmet (or borrow one of ours)
During your lesson
- Private and group formats available for every level
- Instruction focuses on correct fundamentals — you’ll learn to cue and understand your horse, not just sit on one
- Group lessons build a sense of team alongside individual skill
Good To Know
Lesson policies
Billing & scheduling +
- Package payment is due by the 1st of the month; there are no roll-overs into the next month
- Makeup lessons must be completed within the same month
- Checks should be made payable to New Beginnings Stable
Tack & waiver +
- It’s your responsibility to clean tack provided after each lesson — a $15 fee applies if it isn’t
- Every rider must sign a Release and Indemnification Form before their first ride — no exceptions
